The Forgotten Sons To Reunite At The Wrestling REVOLVER Show In April

Forgotten no more; The Forgotten Sons will reunite at The Wrestling REVOLVER‘s “Swerve’s HOUSE” show on April 16.

The Wrestling REVOLVER announced in a tweet on January 24 that Steve Maclin and Westin Blake, formerly known as Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake in WWE, will reunite as the Prisoners of Society at the show on April 16.

Former WWE star Swerve Scott, also known as Shane Strickland, has also been announced for the show.

Cutler and Blake had a prominent run on WWE NXT before they were called up to the main roster in the spring of 2020. But the Forgotten Sons drew a lot of heat due to their stablemate Jaxson Ryker’s controversial tweet, so the act was taken off TV. Months later, Cutler and Maclin briefly resurfaced as the Knights of the Lone Wolf alongside King Corbin before Cutler was released on February 4, 2021. The company later let Blake go on April 15 in a cost-cutting move during a wave of cuts.

Maclin went on to sign with IMPACT Wrestling, and he regularly competes there; he recently challenged Jonathan Gresham for the Original ROH World Championship on the company’s flagship show. Blake has been involved with EC3’s Control The Narrative initiative, and he has worked a few matches on the independent scene. Alongside EC3 and Adam Scherr, he made a surprising appearance at Ring of Honor Final Battle: End of an Era in December.

Update: The Wrestling REVOLVER later announced that the Prisoners of Society will challenge The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) for the promotion’s World Tag Team Championship at the show.
