TBS Title Bout, Jon Moxley Bout And More Set For 1/21 AEW Rampage

Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero) will reunite on the January 21 episode of AEW Rampage.

The united group CHAOS and Best Friends has been feuding with The Superkliq and its new members, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish, for several weeks now. They’ve traded wins in several matches, and the rivalry will reach a new high on Friday night. Beretta and Romero will reunite for the special occasion and face The Young Bucks in a battle between the two acclaimed tag teams.

Roppongi Vice had a successful run in NJPW from 2015-2017; they won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship four times. Romero has made multiple appearances in AEW, and his time with the company has allowed him to join forces with Beretta again.

Later in the show, Ethan Page answered Jon Moxley’s open challenge, so “All Ego” will face the former AEW World Champion in his first match since he entered an inpatient alcohol treatment program in November. Moxley returned to AEW and cut a promo about his comeback on the January 19 episode of AEW episode of AEW Dynamite.

Plus, Anna Jay will challenge Jade Cargill for the TBS Women’s Championship; this bout will be Cargill’s first official defense of the title after she became the inaugural champion by beating Ruby Soho on the January 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. Finally, AEW will send for HOOK, as the fan-favorite star will battle Serpentico.

The updated card is as follows:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Ethan Page
  • Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero) vs. The Young Bucks
  • AEW TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Anna Jay
  • HOOK vs. Serpentico
