Johnny Knoxville says he’s ready to punch his ticket to WrestleMania.
Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump saw a special guest appearance from Johnny Knoxville, who has been confirmed as an official participant in the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match. Knoxville joined Kayla Braxton for a sit-down interview to promote his Rumble appearance and Jackass Forever, and he offered fans a few details into his intense training regimen for the match.
“Well, I know what to expect, they should expect pain. I’ve been taking large truck tires in my back yard and flipping them over the wall, about the weight of a Brock Lesnar. And my neighbors are very upset,” Knoxville noted, “but I’m stronger than ever. I do it like six to eight hours a day. I want the WWE to clear out the first three rows of fans because I’m going to be chucking guys at least into the second.”
Kayla referenced the giant hand gimmick from the TV series (which also appeared on RAW in the past), and Knoxville said he’s got two hands this time — his own.
“I’ve got one for Brock, one for Mysterio and whoever else,” Knoxville declared.
Asked about fans getting behind him to actually win the match, Johnny Knoxville said that he’s “never been more confident of anything in [his] life,” adding, “I will be at WrestleMania, that I will be the last one in the ring in the Royal Rumble.”
The 2022 WWE Royal Rumble is set to take place on Saturday, January 29. Jackass Forever is set to release in theaters on February 4, 2022.
