Jade Cargill could be “That Champ” along with “That Bitch.”
The TBS Women’s Championship Tournament continued with a quarterfinal bout on the 11/19 episode of AEW Rampage, and it got more competitive than the undefeated Cargill expected; her opponent, Red Velvet put up a valiant fight. Throughout the bout, Cargill showed off plenty of dominance as she fought Velvet, so much that Cargill even took some time to do push-ups in the ring. But this cockiness proved to be a mistake, as it gave Velvet enough room to rally with a sling blade and a flurry of offensive firepower.
At two separate points, it appeared that Red Velvet was going to earn the victory, but a missed finisher attempt gave Cargill the opportunity to hit a Black Widow for the 1-2-3 finish.

With this victory, Cargill advances to the semi-finals of the tournament, where she will face the winner of Thunder Rosa vs. Jamie Hayter; this match is set for the November 24 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The tournament will be held on the January 5, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite to kick off the show’s move to TBS.
