Moose: ‘I’m Mr. IMPACT Wrestling’, Trey Miguel Vows To Be A Fighting Champion

Moose: ‘I’m Mr. IMPACT Wrestling’

Moose called his shot at IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory, and in doing so, he ended the night standing tall as the IMPACT World Champion. In a backstage interview, the new champion explained how this victory was the culmination of a plan that kicked off at Bound For Glory 2020.

“It’s been eight years since I decided to hop in my car, drive to Windsor and start this whole journey,” said Moose. “It’s been five years since I signed here to IMPACT Wrestling. And just a year ago, at Bound For Glory 2020, I realized I was doing this whole thing all wrong.

“Instead of talking the talk, I actually had to do the work and formulate a plan. And tonight, Bound For Glory, full circle. That plan came to fruition because now I can officially claim and be 100% right when I say that I’m Mr. IMPACT Wrestling because I’m the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.”

Trey Miguel Vows To Be A Fighting Champion

Moose wasn’t the only one who enjoyed a remarkable title win at Bound For Glory, as Trey Miguel emerged victorious in a three-way bout for the X-Division Championship. In his own backstage interview following the show, he made it clear that he intends to be a fighting champion.

“You know, growing up, my dad used to have this running joke,” said Miguel. “He used to say that I didn’t like money and that I had a hole in my pocket because the second I got money, all I wanted to do was spend it. This [title] right here feels like a million-dollar check. And dad, you’re right. But I don’t want to spend it. I want to defend it.

“So once I’m done tying off, polishing this bad boy, we’re gonna come back here next week, [and] I’m gonna go into that ring. You serve me whoever wants some.”
