With its return to FOX following a brief shift to FS1 last week, WWE SmackDown viewership bounced back on October 22.
According to the overnight numbers from Spoiler TV, 2.101 million viewers watched the show on Friday. This figure marks a major increase from the FS1 show on October 15, which drew 866,000 viewers. The number is also up from the last show that aired on FOX; on October 8, 2.034 million viewers watched the show. T
Per Spoiler TV’s numbers, SmackDown drew a 0.5 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which led cable on Friday night.
Update: Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported the final numbers on Monday; he wrote that 2.249 million viewers watched the show, with a 0.58 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
WWE Smackdown last week Friday on Fox was watched by 2,249,000 viewers on average. 759,000 viewers were aged 18 to 49 (0.58 rating).
AEW Rampage on TNT was watched by 533,000, including 288,000 aged 18 to 49 (0.22 rating).

Thurston also stated that SmackDown ranked fourth overall in the demographic on cable, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show featured the fallout of WWE Crown Jewel; a Brock Lesnar appearance and a Women’s Chapionship Exchange were advertised for the show.
