Ring of Honor will host an NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship Match on the October 27 episode of ROH Women’s Division Wednesday.
The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle) will put the titles on the line against The Allüre (Angelina Love and Allysin Kay.) ROH announced the bout in a tweet that includes a promo where The Hex throws down the gauntlet for the bout.
“If there’s one thing Allysin and I hate, [it’s] bullies,” said Belle. “Angelina Love and Mandy Leon, that’s all the two of you are. Bullies. You think you’re the biggest and the baddest tag team? Well The Hex just walked in the house.
“Y’all trying to be the biggest fish in a pond, well the piranhas just got dropped in, baby,” said Kay. “We’re putting these championships on the line. We already talked to Mickie [James], we already talked to Maria [Kanellis-Bennett.] It’s official. You versus us. Hex marks the spot.”

The Hex won the vacant titles, which were recently reactivated after a lengthy dormancy, at NWA EmPowerrr. NWA and ROH previously had a working relationship, but Marty Scurll’s controversial departure from the latter company and the COVID-19 pandemic, among other factors, ended this collaboration. This title match could be a sign that the two companies are at least willing to work with each other again.
ROH also opened the door for collaboration by having The Briscoes appear at a GCW show and set up a tag title match at GCW War Ready on October 23.
