Bryan Danielson and Nick Jackson kicked off tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage, and Danielson emerged victorious before a heated brawl kicked off.
The two stars displayed their technical prowess throughout the match, with -Danielson making sure to showcase all of his skills against Jackson. To his credit, Jackson wouldn’t give up, even when “The American Dragon” began to work on his left shoulder.
Toward the end of the match, though, the two abandoned technicality for more splashy moves, with Danielson trapping Jackson outside of the ropes and nailing him with a series of kicks.

The two opponents then began battling at ringside. After the action returned to the ring, Danielson trapped Jackson in the Cattle Mutilation submission, forcing him to tap out. As a result, Danielson scored his first win in AEW.
Following the match, the remaining members of The Elite came down to the ring, prompting Christian Cage and Jurassic Express to come down and join Danielson. In a preview of the looming tag team match between the warring groups, they all brawled in a chaotic post-match development. The fight ended with Jungle Boy trapping Adam Cole in a Snare Trap while Danielson put AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in the LeBell Lock.
