It doesn’t sound like it’s been much of a ‘Party’ for Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado in recent times.
Earlier this week, Mas Lucha reported that Gran Metalik had requested his WWE release. We now have an update on that situation.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has confirmed the release request by Metalik and now reports that both he and Lince Dorado have been backstage at various WWE shows in recent weeks looking to speak to management over their unhappiness with how they have been used. As of this time, it is unknown if Lince Dorado has requested his release.
Lucha House Party‘s time on WWE television has fluctuated frequently over the last couple of years. At some points, they were on every week, and other times they weren’t seen for months. It’s not surprising that Metalik and Dorado are unhappy, but whether WWE will grant Metalik his requested release remains to be seen.
