Rok-C won the Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship at the promotion’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, and now her first title defense is set for a non-ROH show.
New Texas Pro Wrestling has announced that “The Prodigy” will put the title on the line against Killer Kelly in the main event of its “Olajuwon” show on September 25.
Killer Kelly had a brief run in WWE that ended when she was released in January 2020, and she also had a stint in IMPACT Wrestling later that year. Otherwise, she has competed all over the world, and she will make her DEFY Wrestling debut next month.
Rok-C won the title by defeating Miranda Alize in the finals of the ROH Women’s World Championship Tournament; during her run through the bracket, she defeated former Women of Honor World Champion Sumie Sakai and former TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love.
