Matt Cardona’s reign as GCW Champion has come to an abrupt end thanks to Jon Moxley. Last night at GCW ‘The Art of War Games’, Matt Cardona issued an open challenge for his championship.
Jon Moxley answered the call after Cardona completed a short squash victory over Frank The Clown. The contest was setup when G-Raver came out with multiple druids. Cardona was able to battle off all but one of the druids, which was revealed to be Jon Moxley after he hit a double underhook DDT on Cardona.
A confrontation with Nick Gage ensued, and Moxley told him if he wanted the championship he knew where to find it. The death match between the two was then made for October 9 in Atlantic City. You can check out some highlights of the above by watching the below tweets.
