The second time was the charm for Santana and Ortiz this week on AEW Dynamite.
On Wednesday, the duo once known as Proud ‘n’ Powerful picked up a big win over FTR in a rematch of their ill-fated bout on the special “Fight For The Fallen” episode of Dynamite. This encounter was derailed by a freak accident that injured Cash Wheeler though FTR still picked up the win.

This bout didn’t have any such setback, instead, it was a showcase for two of the best tag teams in the business. The four men thew everything they had at each other, and Wheeler ultimately took the pin.

Here’s a look at how the bout ended, courtesy of our play-by-play coverage:
Santana continues to control the bout, and Ortiz rolls Harwood up for a two count. Wheeler gets a cheap shot. and Harwood gets a near fall with a Brainbuster. Santana breaks up a double suplex, and Ortiz nearly steals the win with a roll-up. Wheeler hits the Gory Special and slams Ortiz for a two count.
Ortiz dodges a splash from Wheeler, but FTR hits the Big Rig for a near fall that leaves all four men down. Santana catches Harwood with a cutter and double-teams Wheeler with a flurry of offense that cultimates in the three count.
Winners: Santana and Ortiz
