To close out this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, the fan-favorite WWE RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro defended the gold on the duo of WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP. In a major win, Riddle and Randy Orton started their title reign off with a successful defense.
Orton made all the difference in the match, though he didn’t score the pin. He took the attack to MVP, knocking him down before he dropped Lashley with a nasty DDT. Later, “The All Mighty” tagged in and began to dominate Orton to reset the balance of the match. After Lashley sent both of his opponents outside of the ring, Omos and AJ Styles — who were watching from ringside — began their attempted plan of interference.
Omos tried to grab Orton and take down “The Viper” from behind, but Orton was able to shove him away. AJ Styles attempted to attack Orton, but the champion slammed him onto the broadcast table. Back inside the ring, Riddle dropped MVP and hit the Floating Bro to win the bout.
After the bell, Lashley laid Riddle out with a nasty Spear, and looked ready to do some more damage before Orton hit him with an RKO to end the night.
