Matthew Rehwoldt (formerly known as Aiden English in WWE) has made his return to pro wrestling in a big way, coming to IMPACT Wrestling and winning the Homecoming King & Queen tournament in a pairing with Deonna Purrazzo,
They defeated Crazzy Steve and Rosemary to win the coveted tournament. The pair were presented with crowns by Gia Miller after the win. They began the tournament by beating Alisha and Hernandez in the first round, followed by taking out Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green in the semi’s.
Rehwoldt’s debut had been teased in a vignette that aired two weeks ago during the Slammiversary PPV. Rehwoldt was released from WWE as part of the April 2020 “Black Wednesday” cuts.
