Hiroshi Tanahashi won’t have to wait too long for his shot at the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.
After the New Japan Pro-Wrestling star appeared on AEW Dynamite to state his intent challenge for the gold, it seemed like the champion, Lance Archer would have to go to Japan to face him. Instead, NJPW has announced that Tanahashi will face Archer at the NJPW Resurgence event on August 14.
