It appears as if we’re finally getting a Queen of The Ring tournament.
According to Andrew Zarian, WWE’s first-ever Queen of The Ring tournament is set to begin on the October 8th edition of Friday Night SmackDown and will continue on the October 11th episode of Monday Night RAW.

Earlier this week, Wrestling Inc. reported that WWE had the tournament “in the works” for sometime this year, but the planned dates were not confirmed.
WWE has held 21 King of The Ring tournaments dating back to 1985, and the most recent one was held in 2019.
This year’s Queen of The Ring tournament would mark the first all-women’s event or tournament in WWE since the all-women Evolution pay-per-view back in 2018.
Update: Zarian later reported that the finals of the tournament are currently planned for a show in Saudi Arabia in October
