Ethan Page vowed to be the final nail in Darby Allin‘s coffin. Instead, when the lights were on bright, the former TNT Champion defeated “All Ego” in a wild Coffin Match at AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night One.
The bout was as chaotic as you’d expect; early on, Scorpio Sky popped out of the coffin and attacked Allin to help Page take control. But “The Icon” Sting ran to ringside and violently attacked Sky in order to even the odds.

The bout then spilled into the crowd and became increasingly brutal. Page used the hook from a broken turnbuckle as a weapon on Allin, but the fan-favorite fired back by blasting Page with the metal hook, busting him open in the process. He also used the turnbuckle to painfully fishhook Page’s mouth. But a nasty super Razor’s Edge onto a set of steel steps gave Page the upper hand again.

In the end, Page was on the cusp of victory, but Allin gouged his eyes and jumped on his back while riding a skateboard. He then shoved Page into the coffin and closed the lid to win the bout.
After the bell, Allin hit Page with his signature move while he was still locked in the coffin.
