At AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night One, Jon Moxley successfully defended the IWGP United States Championship against Karl Anderson. With the win, he set the record for most title defenses in the title’s history.
Anderson fought valiantly; he suplexed Moxley on the floor and controlled the match for stretches. The champion persevered and somewhat bent the rules to swing the momentum back in his favor by biting Anderson.
