Bandido Wins ROH World Championship At ROH Best In The World

Bandido shocked the world when he won the Ring of Honor World Championship at ROH Best in the World.

In the main event, Bandido pulled off the upset victory when he rolled up the defending champion, RUSH to win the gold.

RUSH had held the title for 498 days in his second reign as the champion; he won the title at ROH Gateway to Honor on February 29, 2020. Bandido won the right to challenge RUSH when he emerged victorious in the prestigious Survival of the Fittest tournament in June.

In a competitive match, RUSH controlled the action for lengthy stretches, and Bandido hit the champion with everything he had. RUSH even kicked out of the challenger’s signature move, the 21-plex. In the end, Bandido rolled RUSH up when the champion disrespectfully tried to rip his mask off.

Moments after the stunning pinfall, RUSH’s stablemates in La Faccion Ingobernable rushed the ring and attacked the new champion. RUSH hit Bandido in the face with the title, and the group posed over the new champion as the show went off the air.
