Violence is the answer.
At least, that’s what Homicide and Chris Dickinson would say after their win at Ring of Honor Best in the World. The duo, representing Violence Unlimited, defeated Rhett Titus and Jonathan Gresham in a Fight Without Honor on Sunday to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship.
Gresham, the reigning Pure Champion, filled in for his stablemate Jay Lethal, who had been substituted in for the injured Tracy Williams. Lethal was unable to compete following his match earlier in the night against Brody King, and Williams wasn’t cleared for action in the first place.
As the name would suggest, the match was brutal and chaotic. Homicide tried to use a fork, but Titus stopped him. Dickinson slammed Titus off the top rope and sent him crashing through the table. In the end, Homicide pinned Gresham, who had wrestled in a hard-fought Pure Rules match earlier the same night, with “Da Cop Killa.”
