King Nakamura And Seth Rollins Qualify For Men’s Money In The Bank Match; Updated Lineup

Baron Corbin entered tonight’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match against “King” Shinsuke Nakamura with high hopes of getting a big win against his bitter rival. Instead, Corbin once again suffered a tough loss, as King Nakamura qualified for the pay-per-view.

During the match between the two enemies, Corbin looked primed to come away with a major win throughout the bout. He started things off by shaking off any and all distractions by Rick Boogs, and he hit Nakamura with some impactful suplexes. He also dropped Nakamura with a Brainbuster onto the broadcast table. After he got back into the ring, Corbin countered a splash attempt from Nakamura and hit a powerbomb. Still, the “King” was able to hold onto Corbin and lock in a submission attempt that nearly ended the contest.

After he fought off Nakamura’s submission attempt, Corbin laid out Nakamura with a huge lariat. With a victory on the tips of his fingers, Corbin failed to capitalize, and Nakamura turned the tides. He clinched the win with an emphatic Kinshasa that put Corbin down for the three count.

Later in the night, Seth Rollins stamped his own ticket, as he earned the last spot in the coveted Money in the Bank Ladder Match by taking down Cesaro. In a brutal match between the two rivals, Rollins emerged victorious when he floored “The Swis Cyborg” with a Stomp for the victory.

With the victory, the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match is now complete, and will feature Johnny Morrison, Ricochet, Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Seth Rollins all facing off for the rights to secure their own shot at a WWE Championship when they should choose.
