Shinsuke Nakamura took down Baron Corbin in the Battle for the Crown during last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. In an interview with WWE following the match, Nakamura reflected on the win.
Speaking backstage, Nakamura said that he was always a king in WWE, and now that he has the crown, he’s finally bringing value back to it. Clearly, Nakamura is extremely happy with his newfound accessory, and so is Rick Boogs, who said he’s very happy to be the “court jester” to Nakamura’s royalty.
