Cesaro wants yet another match with Seth Rollins.
Cesaro has been in the midst of a rise to the top of WWE’s card. This year at WrestleMania, he was featured in his first-ever singles match at the big event against Seth Rollins after nine years on the WWE roster.
The rivalry continued as Seth Rollins attacked Cesaro following Cesaro’s match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash and then followed that attack up with another attack on the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Even though a match has yet to be booked, Cesaro tells Amar Anand of Sportskeeda that he wants Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match again at Hell in a Cell with the hope that he will beat this sadistic side out of his former friend.
“I’d like to say we (Cesaro and Seth Rollins) had very similar journeys getting to this point. How we got there is different. He kind of stabbed everybody in the back, as we’ve seen with The Shield, to get to where he wanted. I kind of tried to take the… you know, keep my integrity intact to get where I am at. It will be awesome to beat him again at Hell in a Cell and beat some sense into him. I, for one, know that the Seth Rollins I knew will be awesome to have back on the roster. This new guy with the crazy suits, that can go away (laughs),” said The Swiss Cyborg.
