At NXT TakeOver: In Your House, Xia Li will hope to avenge a loss she suffered four years ago.
This week on WWE NXT, Li challenged Mercedes Martinez to a match and explained that she was driven by her defeat at Martinez’ hands in the 2017 Mae Young Classic. In a promo segment, Li vowed to prove herself as a true warrior this time around.

In response, Martinez told Li that she’d run through her at the pay-per-view. She also made a statement about Li’s decision to mark her with some mysterious paint last week by saying that she’s been a “marked woman” her entire life.
