Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion TJP is currently recovering from some surgery.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider first reported the news and wrote that TJP suffered a fracture in his nose roughly a monhth ago. He noted that TJP’s surgery came after the latest set of IMPACT Wrestling’s TV tapings, so the former champion shouldn’t miss a lot of time.
TJP confirmed the news on the newest IMPACT Wrestling Press Pass. In the video, he’s wearing a nose bandage and he acknowledges the injury around the 6:50 mark.
I just had to have some surgery on a fractured nose I’ve been dealing with for the last month or so.
TJP will challenge Josh Alexander for the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship in a 60-minute Iron Man Match this week on BTI (Before The IMPACT), which airs Thursday at 7 p.m. EST.
