After he beat the champion via disqualification, Kevin Owens is getting a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
This week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Owens defeated Apollo Crews in a non-title match when Commander Azeez blasted the former Universal Champion with the Nigerian Nail.

Backstage, Owens, though he could barely talk through the pain Azeez caused, demanded a title match. WWE official Adam Pearce appeased Owens by giving him what he asked for; Owens will face Crews for the title on the June 4 episode of SmackDown.
