Vic Joseph may have put it perfectly that there was no wasted motion in Franky Monet’s offense. After weeks of build the former Taya Valkyrie had her “World Premiere” on NXT this week as she took on recent NXT signee, Cora Jade.
Monet was mostly dominant in her debut as she utilized her knees as weapons against the Jade. Cora did find a brief window of offense with a smooth takedown, but Monet made momentum go back in her favor with a sharp spear. She then hit her modified black widow finisher for the emphatic 1-2-3 victory.
Franky has been notorious in interrupting some of her colleagues’ conversations backstage, but now this is the first we saw her work that mat magic in the ring.
