Tamina Stuka and Natalya have been threatening to overthrow the WWE Women’s Tag Team division for some time now. During this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the two longtime veterans finally did. They took down Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

In a match with their bitter rivals, Tamina and Natalya looked more ready than ever before. The duo started the match hot and nearly scored an early win, but the referee was too distracted by Reginald to count the pin. After the distraction, Reginald was promptly ejected from ringside, and losing his help made a vital difference for Baszler and Jax.
As the match went on, Snuka and Natalya began to gain more momentum, with Natalya hitting a massive German suplex on Baszler to help Tamina after she was nearly pulled off the top rope by her opponent. Instead, Snuka was able to launch off the top rope and hit a Superfly Splash onto Jax for the win.

Following the win, both Tamina and Natalya said the victory was for everyone who thinks their dreams might have passed them by. The extremely emotional duo then hugged and celebrated, posing with their newly won titles as fireworks went off to make the moment even more special.
