Speaking about the decision to leave IMPACT Wrestling for NXT, Nash Carter and Wes Lee, MSK, say they didn’t have to give it too much thought.

Formerly known as Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier in IMPACT, Nash Carter and Wes Lee are the current NXT Tag Team Champions. Speaking about their decision to leave IMPACT with Digital Spy, where their former trios tag team partner, Trey Miguel, still works, MSK say they were grateful for the opportunities but for them, the decision was a no-brainer.

Carter said, “When this opportunity came, it was a no-brainer. I’ve always wanted to be a WWE Superstar.” Lee added, “With the progression of our careers, this was the next stage and it was just right there in front of us and we just had to take the opportunity.

“It’s bred some amazing, amazing things since we made that choice. The pandemic definitely gave us time to re-evaluate a lot of things and we did a lot of talking, a whole lot of talking on what it is that we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it and this just worked out perfectly.”

WrestleZone will have live coverage of NXT beginning tonight at 8 p.m. eastern time. MSK will take on former NXT Tag Team Champions Tyler Breeze and Fandango.
