It looks like Retribution is being split up, as two members of the group are moving to Friday nights.
According to a report from PWInsider.com, Reckoning (aka Mia Yim) has been moved to SmackDown. POST Wrestling also confirmed Yim’s move, and reported Slapjack (aka Shane Thorne) has been moved to SmackDown as well. At this time, it’s unknown if both performers will retain their Retribution personas or debut on the brand under a new gimmick.
Last week’s episode of RAW ended with T-Bar and Mace attacking Drew McIntyre, so it would appear that Retribution will be split up moving forward.
Yim signed with WWE in 2018 and was on the NXT roster until joining Retribution last year. She has made one prior appearance on SmackDown, an eight-woman tag team match on the November 15, 2019 episode of SmackDown. Thorne has also made one prior appearance on SmackDown, as he was one of the participants in this year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 1. Prior to his RAW debut in Retribution, he was on the NXT roster as a member of TM-61 from 2016–2019.
