After they earned a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Revolution, Rey Fenix & PAC hoped to win the gold by beating the Young Bucks this week. But the champions had other ideas, and they were able to retain their belts thanks to some underhanded tactics.

In a match that went back and forth from the very start, Fenix & PAC looked primed to pull off a major upset. Early on, PAC rallied by sending both members of the Young Bucks out of the ring. Fenix subsequently hit a huge double cutter that nearly ended the match. However, the Young Bucks survived, and they went to a dark place to ensure their victory.

Toward the end of the match, Matt Jackson nailed Fenix with a superkick and promptly unmasked him in the ring. Fenix instantly covered his face, and the Young Bucks capitalized by blasting him with a double superkick for the win.
