Britt Baker wouldn’t mind her next “first” for AEW coming in the form of a pay-per-view main event.

Baker recently spoke with WrestleZone and was asked about her thoughts on the potential matchups that the working relationship with IMPACT Wrestling provides to talent, including possibly working with Knockouts Champion (and her best friend) Deonna Purrazzo. “The Virtuosa” recently said she wants to be the first woman through the “forbidden door” and said it could even mean seeing her “best friend Britt Baker coming to IMPACT Wrestling.”

When asked for a response to that statement, Baker said she welcomes any challengers, but said she’d love to work with Deonna in any capacity because she is a star.

“I welcome any and all challengers from any roster. Deonna obviously is very special to me, she’s one of my best friends and she has had a hell of a year. She’s really overcome all adversity and then some,” Baker explained, “so if Deonna wants to dance, we’ll dance. If she wants to be my tag partner, we’ll tag. Anything Deonna wants, she can have because she’s my girl. Deonna’s a star.”

Baker has been part of many “firsts” in All Elite Wrestling — she was the first woman signed, and she was one-half of the first women’s main event on Dynamite with Thunder Rosa. When asked if there are any other firsts she wants to stake her claim to in AEW, Baker said she wouldn’t mind being the first woman to main event a pay-per-view.

“You know, I never really have any of these things on my agenda. They just come to me because I’ve said it 100 times,” Baker explained, “I am a star, I am the face of the women’s division. But let’s say I would love to main event a pay-per-view, to be the first female [to do that in AEW].
