Report: All April NXT Taping Dates Scheduled For Tuesdays

It would appear that NXT is moving to Tuesdays on a more permanent basis.

According to a new report from PWInsider.com, multiple sources have told them that all April episodes of NXT are listed in the company’s production schedule as taking place on Tuesdays.

Starting April 13, the first episode after WrestleMania, NXT will air on Tuesday night, according to the schedule. At first, only the April 13 date was on the production schedule, but now with more Tuesday dates being added it appears that the yellow brand will be changing nights.

WWE has yet to publicly comment or confirm these reports; the move to Tuesday night was first reported by the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, and confirmed by the Wrestling Observer. It’s also been speculated that since this move would put NXT head-to-head with IMPACT Wrestling, we could see IMPACT shift to Thursday nights so that they continue to run unopposed.

NXT will host NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver on back-to-back nights on Wednesday, April 7 and 8. The first part of the event will air at 8:00 p.m. ET on USA Network, and the second night airing on Thursday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s newest streaming service and the future home of all WWE content.
