The AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament continues to dwindle down as the first semi-final of the United States bracket took place on AEW Dark.
Britt Baker, who defeated alternate Madi Wrenkowski, took on Nyla Rose, who pinned Tay Conti after a competitive bout. Baker worked the arms of the former AEW Women’s Champion. A resilient Rose would take out Baker’s assistant Rebel and then chokeslam the dentist. However, Baker would take advantage of a distracted Rose, who wanted to attack Rebel rather than her opponent, and locked in the Lockjaw. Rose would break free and hit a huge powerbomb, but a delayed pin allowed Baker to kick out. Another Beast Bomb would end the night of Baker.
With the victory, Rose will now face the winner of Thunder Rosa vs. Riho in the finals of the US bracket.
