WWE’s dream team could be in trouble.
On Monday night, Charlotte Flair and Asuka unsuccessfully challenged the team who took the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from them at WWE Royal Rumble. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler retained the titles against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair the night before at WWE Royal Rumble. With a win, the duo has scored e scored wins over both women’s champions.
All four women are quite familiar with each other, so the bout was quite competitive from start to finish. Jax overpowered both Flair and Asuka at different points. “The Irresistible Force” saved the match when she broke up the Figure-Four with a leg drop. But Asuka tagged in and cleared house. In the end, Flair accidentally dropped Asuka with a big boot, and Jax pinned her with a leg drop.

After the match, Flair walked out on Asuka.
Backstage, Charlotte begged her father, Ric Flair to go home. She was on the verge of tears as she criticized Ric’s relationship with Lacey Evans and its effect in her career. Ric pointed out that he never said Evans’ baby was his, and he stated that he was just trying to mentor a talented wrestler. But Charlotte refused to hear it, and she firmly asked her father to leave.
