One person who has significantly benefitted from the Ring of Honor restart is Brian Johnson. “The Mecca” has been featured on the company’s weekly programing in recent months. Before the pandemic, he was an irregular presence on the on-screen product, but he has shined in his newfound opportunities. Johnson recently spoke with WrestleZone Writer Colin Tessier and discussed this prominence.
“It’s expected,” said Johnson. “Maybe that sounds wrong or rude or not the words people are gonna say because everyone should be respectful. No, I should have been there years ago, and it’s bulls*** that I haven’t been.”
