Roman Reigns’ Back Hurts From Carrying WWE, But He Isn’t A ‘Puss’ Like Adam Pearce

Roman Reigns opened up tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown with a message to everyone, as he spoke about his upcoming match at Royal Rumble against Kevin Owens, and how that came to be. In the process, Reigns said that he had been carrying WWE for a long time, and had some choice words for Adam Pearce.

Reigns came out and briefly discussed his career as a superstar, saying that it took things like cancer and a pandemic for him to stop appearing. He then took shots at Adam Pearce, who claimed last week that a knee injury would prevent him from facing off against Reigns at Royal Rumble. Reigns then listed off a number of injuries that he could claim as well, but that he wasn’t a “puss” like Pearce was. Among the injuries, claimed Reigns, was his back hurting, from carrying the entire WWE for so long.

Before he could go on, though, Pearce came down to the ring, telling Reigns that enough was enough before getting into it with Paul Heyman. As the two argued, Heyman surprisingly challenged Pearce to a match tonight, to which Pearce happily accepted.
