The fan-favorite duo of Killian Dain and Drake Maverick once again took to the ring during tonight’s episode of NXT, where they attempted to take down Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch to become the newest NXT Tag Team Champions. Unfortunately for them, Lorcan & Burch proved to be way too much to handle, and they lost in dominant fashion.
During the match, Lorcan & Burch focused more on Dain, assaulting him at every turn in order to deal the most damage to the team. As things came to an end, Dain was put through multiple tables, before Maverick came to the rescue by attacking Lorcan and Burch with a strap. However, Lorcan and Burch simply began attacking Maverick, and proceeded to hit their finisher on him for the victory.

Maverick and Dain attack Burch and Lorcan from behind as they make their way down the ramp. Maverick tosses a few chairs in the ring. Two tables are set up outside the ring. Lorcan and Burch a beatdown Dain in the corner. Dain and Maverick double team Burch. Dain slams Maverick on top of Burch. Maverick and Dain meet in the middle on Lorcan while he is dazed in the corner. Dain tries to spear Lorcan into a table but Lorcan moves out of the way. Dain goes through the table. After the break, Locan and Burch put Dain through another table. Maverick lands a low bow on Burch and Lorcan. Maverick whips Lorcan and Burch with a strap. Burch and Lorcan hit their finish on Maverick for the win.
