Last night on WWE NXT, the broadcast team noted that Cameron Grimes will be inactive for the rest of the year. A new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider shines some light on the situation. Johnson confirmed that Grimes is recovering from surgery, so he’s currently recovering from the procedure. The storyline injury he suffered at the hands of Timothy Thatcher earlier this month may explain this absence on screen.
Per Johnson’s report, Grimes will likely be out of action until the end of January or the beginning of February.
