The final WWE RAW before WWE Survivor Series was quite eventful, as the WWE Championship changed hands, The New Day defended the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship, and Team RAW lost two members and gained two new ones. In WWE Network Exclusives, several stars reflected on what happened Monday Night.
First, Drew McIntyre was a man of few words after he won the WWE Championship. He was simply riding high after he beat Randy Orton. “This is technically the second time I’ve held the title, and I feel exactly the same as I did winning it the first time,” said McIntyre. “The only thing that makes it that much sweeter is defeating Randy Orton after everything we’ve been through…. I’m just feeling really really good right now.”
Then, The New Day sent a message to The Street Profits head of their match at WWE Survivor Series. “The thing is, these [WWE RAW Tag Team Championship belts] mean that we’re the best,” said Xavier Woods.
“We’re the kings of the tag team division,” said Kingston.
The New Day then wondered what “Street Profits” really means. “what street are you coming from?,” asked Kingston. “Elm Street? It’s about to be a nightmare for y’all at Survivor Series. You look at us, we enter your dreams like Freddy Kreuger.”
Woods took the Kreuger comparison and used it to make a statement. “You can rest easy after we whip y’all’s tails after Survivor Series, because at that point, your nightmares will become your reality,” said Woods.
Finally, Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans celebrated their opportunity as new members of Team RAW. “We’re gonna represent RAW with smart, strong women,” said Evans.
Royce expressed that she’s ready to be the team’s star player. “After seeing the way Nia [Jax] and Shayna [Baszler] have been treating the other women, I thought, ‘Man, I’m not sure that they’re equipped to be leaders,” said Royce. “But here I come, knowing very well that I am a leader and I deserve to be in this match…. I am confident in my abilities to take RAW home for the win at Survivor Series.”
