After suffering an attack at the hands of The North, Alex Shelley caught up with IMPACT Wrestling tonight to discuss his injury, before once again falling victim to another attack, this time at the hands of XXXL.
During a brief segment where Shelley and Chris Sabin were being interviewed backstage, Shelley revealed that his injury – that forced him into a neck brace – hurt “really bad,” and would require at least two months of healing. However, Shelley said that the injury was simply the result of risks that they had to take when you’re the greatest. Just as Sabin began saying that once Shelley is healed the duo would once again be vying for their titles, Acey Romero came into frame, telling Shelley that XXXL wasn’t going to wait 6-8 weeks for Shelley to heal, before both members of the tag team duo sandwiched Shelley and ran off.
Once @fakekinkade is ready to go, he and @SuperChrisSabin will be coming for The North. #IMPACTonAXSTV @THEACEYROMERO @legendoflarryd pic.twitter.com/lKBJMBv2GW
