New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 15 will have a limited number of fans in the Tokyo Dome, however the maximum capacity for a limited number of fans will still be significantly larger than all possibilities being discussed for American crowds right now.
In a new interview with Tokyo Sports, NJPW President Takami Obari stated capacity will be limited to 20,000 fans for Wrestle Kingdom 15 in January. The venue can potentially hold over 50,000 fans.
Next year’s Wrestle Kingdom event will once again be tonight’s taking place between January 4th and January 5th. Kota Ibushi, who once again won the G1 Climax tournament, will have the opportunity to become IWGP World Heavyweight Champion again after being unsuccessful this past January against Kazuchika Okada.
