Former wXw Champ Karsten Beck Passes Away, Wrestlers Pay Tribute

Another sad passing to report in the world of pro wrestling. Former Westside Xtreme Wrestling Unified World Champion Karsten Beck has passed away after a long battle with brain cancer. Beck was a regular in wXw as well as several other promotions around Europe in his time in the ring. He retired from competition in 2016 and underwent surgery for his condition later that year. He still appeared for wXw as an authority figure and was a beloved figure behind the scenes.

The promotion reported the passing on Twitter today, paying him tribute and wishing the best to his family and his significant other, Ruth. Beck was 33.

Colleagues and fans from around the wrestling world posted their own tributes to the fallen competitor, many including favorite memories from their time together in the ring.
