Another Raider goes under the knife.
Viking Raider Erik posted the following on Twitter, revealing he had surgery today to clear up an ongoing issue he’s been having due to a surgical screw pushing into his triceps muscle.
Today I had hardware removed from my cyborg arm. I’ve been putting off this surgery for a long time and just worked thru the pain and limitations caused by a surgical screw protruding into my triceps.
Thanks to the wonderful Dr Dugas, I’m excited to come back at full strength.
Erik joins his teammate Ivar on the shelf as he was taken out of action due to an injury sustained during a dive on the September 7 episode of RAW. Ivar immediately threw up the ‘X’ gesture to signal something was wrong, and the finish was rushed so he could be helped by ringside medical staff. Ivar underwent neck surgery last month and has since thanked everyone for their support.
It is currently unknown how long both of the former Raw Tag Team Champions will be sidelined due to their respective injuries.
