John “Bradshaw” Layfield was the latest guest on WWE After The Bell this week, talking with Corey Graves about his earliest days with the company. Before he was a stockbroker or an acolyte, he was Hawk, a rough and tumble Texan with Uncle Zeb by his side. He recalls matches off TV with Bob Holly and Al Snow fondly, saying he learned a lot about the business in those days.
Bradshaw also states he learned so much from The Undertaker, which is no surprise. He recalls going almost 50 minutes with the Deadman on live events, impressing even Vince McMahon at the passion of both men for the sport.
