This week on WWE RAW, a ninja gave WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth a document that said Akira Tozawa has been eaten by a shark. In the letter, Tozawa told him to wear his black belt with honor. Tozawa snuck up behind Truth and pinned him to win the title. Another ninja hit Tozawa with the title and pinned him to win the title. The ninja unmasked and revealed himself to be Drew Gulak. Truth then attacked Gulak and pinned him to regain the title.

Later in the show, Truth faced both men in a triple threat match. The challengers teamed up to gain the upper hand on R-Truth. The champion clotheslined both men. Tozawa and Gulak double-teamed Truth and kept him grounded. Gulak tried to pin Tozawa, and he threw him out of the ring.
