Tonight’s RAW Tag Team Championship match had an impromptu ending and we now know it’s because of a legitimate injury suffered during the match.
PWInsider.com is reporting Angel Garza suffered a legitimate leg injury during the match, leading to the impromptu end of the bout. It looked like he was injured after hitting Montez Ford with a knee strike, and he is being examined backstage at this time to determine the severity of the injury.
The pinfall was counted despite it looking like Andrade had kicked out after Dawkins hit him with a spinebuster, leading to some to believe the count was botched. It now seems more likely that the match was ended to account for the injury to Garza. We will update the situation as more information comes in.
