During a Q&A session on his Twitch channel, current SmackDown superstar AJ Styles commented on the arrival of Paul Heyman on his brand of choice. Styles moved from SmackDown to Raw fairly recently due to some dirty dealings involving the Advocate and his involvement in getting Anderson and Gallows included in WWE’s recent mass firings.
While Styles still seems upset at Heyman over the incident, he admitted on stream that the former OC are doing fine in their new roles on IMPACT Wrestling and that he can stay professional despite his misgivings.
I could care less. It’s water under the bridge. Not saying that I have forgotten what he’s done, but I’m not gonna be that guy who holds a grudge, I’m not like that. Okay dude, you know you pissed me off, you know how I feel, I may not ever trust you again, can I get along with him professionally? Absolutely. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna be mean to him or say anything, it’s over. My buddies are doing fine.
Styles has an advocate of his own of sorts, with fellow TNA alum Joseph Parks joining him the past several weeks. Will The Phenomenal One challenge The Big Dog over dominance of his yard and get revenge on Heyman in the process? Or will the two current heels see eye to eye in the storyline? It’s something to keep watching for as Reigns begins his new reign over WWE’s blue brand.
