AEW Dynamite kicked off this week with a Tag Team Gauntlet Match. The top four tag teams in the company fought it out to see who would go on to All Out to challenge Kenny Omega and Hangman Page for the AEW Tag Team Championships. Starting off at the top of the hour was The Young Bucks taking on The Natural Nightmares, with both teams making their entrances before the broadcast kicked off:

The Bucks took out the Nightmares with the BTE Trigger, meaning that they went on to take on the #2 ranked team, The Best Friends. Orange Cassidy didn’t accompany Trent? and Chuckie T to the ring this night, and the fresh team took the advantage early. The Bucks recovered, putting on a great fight with several nasty near-falls and a great back and forth. Eventually, the match was spoiled by “Hangman” Adam Page, preventing Nick Jackson from saving Matt from a roll-up.
What the hell is @theAdamPage doing?!

Due to those circumstances, FTR walked into the arena to take on Best Friends fresh as a daisy with Tully Blanchard at their side. They made quick work of the duo with a submission hold on Chuck Taylor’s injured knee. With Hangman helping FTR get into the match, is there any hope that Kenny Omega can make up with his partner and hang onto the titles?
