Alexa Bliss has been thrown into the feud between The Fiend and Braun Strowman, and after Strowman said he didn’t care about Bliss last week, the female superstar spoke to WWE about her history with Strowman.
In a special segment on tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown, Bliss spoke about her relationship with Strowman, saying that the two became best friends nearly immediately. “When you first meet Braun he can be intimidating but I got to know the man behind the monster. He’s awesome. He’s a good man. Funny, witty. He’s protective, he’s compassionate. He’s that guy we get along so well because we call each other on our crap. We can be fun and we became best friends,” she said. “Maybe [we’d enter a relationship]. I cared about him a lot.”
Later in the interview, Bliss was asked about The Fiend, and said that she did understand why some might find him compelling, likening it to a moth being drawn to light. “It’s scary [being around the Fiend]. Terrifying and also compelling. Once you’ve interacted with him it’s almost like you can just feel his presence. Honestly, I can say for the first time in my life that I understand what they mean when they say a moth to the flame.”
